Jordan Seigel is a film composer, pianist, and orchestrator from Los Angeles, California. After receiving a full-scholarship to attend the Berklee College of Music, Jordan earned several honors, such as The Alex Ulanowski Award in Composition, The Michael Rendish Award in Film Scoring and was a two-time recipient of The Jazz Performance Award. An avid student of his craft, Jordan has been fortunate enough to study with Aaron Goldberg, Hal Crook, Russ Ferrante, Larry Goldings, Fred Hersch and Danilo Perez.
As a composer for film and visual media, Jordan is currently working on a variety of projects. Jordan has composed additional music for AMC’s Revolutionary War spy drama, TURN: Washington’s Spies (starring Jamie Bell), The Woman in Black: Angel of Death (starring Jeremy Irvine) and The Giver (starring Jeff Bridges). He also composed the underscore for the musical comedy Lucky Stiff (starring Jason Alexander).
In addition to his composition work, Jordan has been orchestrating on a multitude of films and TV shows with Tim Davies. Recent projects include Trolls, Rings, CHiPs, Empire, Godless, and The LEGO Ninjago Movie. As an arranger, Jordan recently contributed arrangements for concerts with Common and Babyface at the Kennedy Center (National Symphony Orchestra). Additionally, Jordan has a large catalog of high-quality jazz music for TV/Film, currently represented by Oovra Music.
With his trio and other groups, Jordan has performed at various prestigious events and venues such as Lincoln Center, the Costa Rica International Jazz Festival, the Beantown Jazz Festival and the Playboy Jazz Festival. He has also been featured in numerous films and TV shows in the US and internationally, including Glee, The X Factor and Modern Family.
